Pinnacles National Monument

This past weekend Alison and I joined a whole bunch of great friends at Pinnacles National Monument. We were celebrating Jaimie and Todd's upcoming wedding. On Saturday we did the High Ridge Trail, and saw pretty much every California Condor! Go team condor! Pics coming soon. You know how I like maps, so here's a map:

Welcome to the World Jackson!

You can now call me Unky Paul and Alison now goes by Auntie Al! Jackson Donovan Payne was born today at 12:15; weighing in at 8 pounds 4 ounces and 20 inches long. He's a cute little guy and we're looking forward to having all kinds of fun with him, and then sending him home to his parents when its diaper changing time :) Congratulations Jeff and Katie!

DIY Network's got nothing on us!

Alison and I decided to spruce up our expansive yard with a bit of color. Who knew concrete could look so beautiful? Just follow the following steps and you too can own a piece of the concrete jungle :)

STEP #1
Buy concrete stain and strap it to your bike.

STEP #2
Put your beautiful wife to work.

STEP #3
Keep on rollin!

STEP #4
Put your kingdom back together.

STEP #5
Enjoy.

South Lake - January '08

We went to South Lake Tahoe January 11-14th this year and had an awesome time, as we always do. Alison's birthday was on the 10th, so the trip was to celebrate her 26th year and also to see some of our great friends. We did some skiing, some falling, some snowshoeing, we won some money, we lost some money, we ate some great food, saw snowflakes fall, shoveled a bit of snow, sang, danced, laughed, took hundreds of pictures, slept very little, splashed in the hot tub, and mostly just enjoyed being around our crew of happy friends.
