Growing Our Own!

Alison and I have been getting into growing our own herbs and vegetables. It's fun and totally rewarding. Eating one little radish that we grew ourselves is way better than a whole pound of store bought tomatoes. We don't have any illusions about never making another trip to the grocery store; maybe we can just have a home-grown salad now and again. We've been cramming veggies onto the patio at our condo, and I started a garden at work. Here are some pics: (10/3/2008 pic update)

Pinnacles National Monument

This past weekend Alison and I joined a whole bunch of great friends at Pinnacles National Monument. We were celebrating Jaimie and Todd's upcoming wedding. On Saturday we did the High Ridge Trail, and saw pretty much every California Condor! Go team condor! Pics coming soon. You know how I like maps, so here's a map:

Welcome to the World Jackson!

You can now call me Unky Paul and Alison now goes by Auntie Al! Jackson Donovan Payne was born today at 12:15; weighing in at 8 pounds 4 ounces and 20 inches long. He's a cute little guy and we're looking forward to having all kinds of fun with him, and then sending him home to his parents when its diaper changing time :) Congratulations Jeff and Katie!
