So much for good intentions...

Well, I am officially the laziest blogger. Time has been flying by and Parker has been keeping us very busy. He is now 4 1/2 months old. He is 16 pounds of giggles! He is laughing at anything and everything. I am now officially on summer break from my tutoring job at Miller School. I am looking forward to exploring with Parker this summer.

1 month old today!

I can't believe it's already been a month! Parker is doing very well. He has gained weight and is around 11 pounds. His favorite thing to do is stick his tongue out when daddy does it. He is starting to coo and smile a lot at us. I am back to work this week and it went well. It's only for 3 hours in the mornings so it is do-able. I took his picture next to a bear so we can see his growth over the months. (stole the idea from my friend Lindsy) I can't wait to see how much bigger he will get by next month.

Parker Jordan Bartsch

We welcomed our first baby on January 25, 2011 at 9:52am. Parker was 9lb 2oz and 22 1/4 in long. How in the world I made such a big baby, I have no idea. I was induced at 11 days overdue, so that helped I'm sure. Parker has been such a love, and a very easy baby. Knock on wood, haha! He is a good eater, sleeper, and is very tolerant of all the contraptions we put him in. Stay tuned for more updates and watch Parker grow!

Pumpkin Patch

Hello all! Paul wants me to share in the blogging duties, so first order of business was to make it cuter, second task to post something:
My favorite time of year is fall. I love pumpkins, fall desserts, and the aroma of fall scents around the house. So what is fall without a trip to the pumpkin patch? Just not fall at all. So here we are at the Avila Barn with our nephews.

Family Baby Showers

Over the weekend we had a great time seeing some family in Fresno for a couple of baby showers to celebrate Parker. Thanks everybody for all of the great food, fun presents and most of all your presence. Here's a bunch of pictures from the weekend. I haven't organized them or added captions yet but you'll get the idea. I should have some better pictures from our real camera soon. Also, congratulations to Josh & Stephanie on news of baby #2 in the queue!
